2022 Wrap-up
2022 for the Club has been a mixed bag, completion of 5 club rounds & the Lennox Longboard One Dayer 2022 event back on May 15th. Post Covid & Local Flooding in March , put club rounds into recess March to May.
Our biggest rounds were February & July. Our Club has around 40 members surfing with some real talent in Longboard surfing amongst our ranks. Club Rounds are on the 2nd Sunday of the month @ Lennox Main Beach, of course depending on the surf conditions. Our season runs from Feb – November.
The “One Dayer” event back in May 15th was the first of this new format, Replacing the Lennox Longboard Classic, a 2 day Longboarding event , the last one in August 2019. This 2 day format ran for 22 years. Covid delayed & changed the format to the One Day format ( which was delayed 3 times)
This year we want to thank the local group The Healthy Minds Club as they co-hosted the One Dayer event this year. We want to thank all our Local Sponsors throughout 2022, both on board for the One Dayer & the Club.

The Club Trailer is a familiar sight around the Lennox Beachfront once a month. And covered with our valued Club Sponsors. At the time of this wrapup, the club was attempting to round off the season 2022, with the November club round. But conditions surf wise can be fickle as summer approaches. Our Club Xmas / Presentation 2022 was on Saturday 10th December, downstairs Williams Reserve Sports Club, from 3pm – 8pm. We Resume in 2023, 2nd Sunday in February 12th & The 2nd Rip Curl Lennox Longboard “One Dayer” 2023, scheduled Saturday 25th March.
