Welcome to the web site for the Lennox Longboarders, a no-profit, non-professional, all-fun club for longboarders from Lennox Head and surroundings.

Membership enrolment 2010

Membership enrolment for 2010is now open. To enrol, download and print the membership form, fill it in and bring it to the next club round with the membership fee.

Next club round

The first club round of the year will be held on Sunday 14th February. Meet on the main beach, in front the of Lennox Point Hotel, at 7.30.

As a general rule, club rounds are held every 2nd Sunday of the month, unless otherwise stated.

New members welcome

Interested in joining the club? New members are always welcome. We also have a one-day 'trial' membership for those who want to check things out before joining (a $2 fee applies, for insurance cover). Just come at the next club round and try!

Club XMAS & 2009 presentation Sat 5th December

Our Club 2009 Xmas/ AGM/ Presentation was on Saturday afternoon the 5th Dec, Started at 3pm. A crew of about 40 & Kids enjoyed some good food, entertaiment provided by a solo guitarist named Birdy, he was good. Santa this year was Tim Harrison, thanks Tim.

Thanks to our club 2009 catering committee Forfar & Sally Petrie as I said great food, a good venue.

By the way Jim Baker is our new Club President for 2010, Congratulations!

2009 Donation Presentation

On Saturday the 28th November the Lennox Longboarders Club brought together 6 recipients that were mainly local to present cheques totaling $2800.00 to, after fundraising throughout 2009 through club functions & the Annual Lennox Longboard Classic we run in early August.
The recipients were: the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, the Disabled Surfing Association, the Cancer Council of NSW, the Ballina Volunteer Coastguard, the Lennox Surf Lifesaving Club & a club member, Sam Petterson, a disabled athlete in his quest for Para-Olympics. The Cheques were presented by Peter Regan, Club President.
