Lennox Longboarders surfed last Sunday The 13th April. Some 25 surfed the club round in difficult, though clean conditions on a low tide onto a quick bank at Lennox main beaches. The swell at a meter plus & larger on sets.

We also held a club memorial for Peter Edmonds who as we all know, tragically lost his life at North Wall the previous Tuesday. Club members wore black armbands & a minutes silence was had, In attendance was a large contingent of family & friends.

Peter will be remembered at a easy going junior, a gentleman, who loved the sea & the friends associated with it. He will be sadly missed & remembered, Our thoughts go to his family & friends. The club round was on as we felt Peter would have wanted it to continue.

Peter Neil Edmonds funeral was on Wednesday the 16th April at the Baptist church Alstonville. A large contingent of Lennox Longboarders attended as well as students from year 11 of Alstonville High school, Family & many friends. A beautiful inspiring service that displayed the life of this gentle big guy, his life cut short, always remembered.

A paddle out will be organized in the near future as per the family wishes location the bream hole Lennox.
